Methodist Dallas - OBGYN Residency accepts
three residents into the program each year. All applicants must submit their
applications through
Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We participate in the
National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for all of our training positions.
Application Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduates of medical schools in the United States and Canada accredited
by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) OR
- Graduates of colleges of osteopathic medicine in the United States accredited
by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- Passed USMLE Step I
- USMLE Step II completion - minimum score of 230
- US Citizen or permanent resident
*At this time we do not accept IMG applications*
Application Should Include:
- Completed ERAS application
- Personal Statement
- Minimum of two Letters of Recommendations (LOR)
- Department Chair LOR preferred - but not required
- USMLE Step I & II Scores
- Medical School Transcript
Interviews
Methodist Dallas OBGYN Residency will be following the Recommended Standards
for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Application and Interview Processes
- All interviews will be virtual via Zoom
- Application deadline is October 1, 2023
- Interview offers will be released on October 24, 2023
- We will notify applicants of final status (e.g. waitlist, rejection) by
December 1, 2023
- Current residents will host a Virtual Meet & Greet the evening before
interviews.
- Communication will be made through ERAS Scheduler and directly from the
Program Coordinator.
2023-2024 Interview Dates:
Interview days will be split into morning and afternoon sessions. You will
interview with our Program Director, one full-time faculty member, and
one upper-level resident.
